Octopus Surf is looking for surf instructors! At Octopus Surf we are all about hospitality and keeping our students safe, and making sure that everyone has fun learning how to surf.

You will be required to

  • Give surf lessons for individuals or groups.

  • Provide safety instructions to ensure a safe surfing environment.

  • Assist beginners in paddling, balancing, and catching waves.

  • Customize teaching methods to suit different skill levels.

  • Offer feedback and guidance to improve surfing techniques.

  • Maintain, organise, and take care of surf equipment.

  • Have fun and encourage the students to have a nice time during lessons.

  • Learn and pay attention to safety protocols and emergency procedures.

  • Work with the Octopus crew to improve the overall surfing experience.

Although not required, if would be great if you

  • Have any past surf or water sports teaching experience

  • Are a good swimmer, while we teach in waist deep water, this is important for the safety of the students

  • Can communicate in English decently well

  • Enjoy the Sea, Sun, Sand and Good Vibes

Where: Goa, India

Months: September – May

Schedule: 8am to 2pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Timings are flexible according to our surf lessons schedule (2 or 3 group or private lessons a day).

Accommodation: Not available, however we can help look for a homely place near by

Instructors can choose for a commission-based model, earning up to 25% of the lesson fee (a choice favoured by most) or we can offer a fixed fee or upto 20,000 INR based on your experience and skill.
