Small Cuts / Cracks
Hard: ₹500 (4 days)
Foam: ₹350 (2 days)
Under 2 inches. Surface cracks, chips, or cuts with no foam showing. Usually on the nose, tail, or rails.
Medium Cuts / Cracks
Hard: ₹750 (4 days)
Foam: ₹1000 (2 days)
2 to 5 inches. Surface is cracked open with foam exposed to water. Common on rails, nose tips, or deep heel dents.
Large Cuts / Cracks
Hard: ₹1200 (3-5 days)
Foam: ₹2500 (3-5 days)
Over 5 inches or deeply crushed. Heavy core damage needing foam rebuilds and extra strength. Usually caved-in rails or deep collision craters.
Boards Snaps
Midboard Snaps
Hard: ₹6000 (4–6 days)
Foam: ₹7500 (4–6 days)
Snapped in two or heavily buckled by a wave. We realign the board, rebuild the core, and reinforce it so it handles the surf again.
Why Snaps Take Extra Care & Time
Fixing a snap requires precision alignment and layered reinforcement so the board keeps its original shape, strength, and balance in the water.
Delamination/Bubble
Foam Board Bubble
Small (Under 6in): ₹1000 (3-4 days)
Large: ₹2000 (3–4 days)
Soft spots or raised bbbles lifting off the core. We seal and clamp the skin back down flat and firm.
Hardboard Delam
Single Side: ₹2500 (5–7 days)
Full Board: ₹5000 (5–7 days)
Widespread peeling caused by sun or trapped water. We re-bond and re-glass the deck so it stays firm and rigid under your feet.
Fins
Broken / Lost Fin (Per fin)
Hard: ₹1000 (1 day)
Foam: ₹1000 (1 day)
Snapped a fin tip on a sandbar or lost one in the surf. We replace the missing or damaged fin with a matching one.
Broken Fin Box / Replacement (Per box)
Hard: ₹1500 (3-4 days)
Broken or ripped-out fin box from heavy impact. We remove the damaged shell and install a new box flush with the board.
Nose Snaps
Hard: ₹1500 (3–5 days)
Major nose break or severe crush. We reconstruct the missing piece and strengthen it so your board floats and cuts through water properly.
Tail Snaps
Small to Medium Snap
Hard: ₹1200 (3–5 days)
Cracked or chipped tail corners from drops. We smooth the shape and seal it watertight.
Large Tail Snap
Hard: ₹2000 (3–5 days)
Deeply crushed or snapped tail section. We rebuild the missing piece, reinforce it for back-foot pressure, and match the original curve so your turns and speed feel seamless.
Hotcoat (Hardboard)
Large Section / Full Deck
Hard: ₹1200 (1–2 days)
Deep scratches or worn-out outer finish. We add a fresh, sanded resin layer to lock out water and protect the board.
About the surf school and the beach
Octopus Surf School operates out of the S2 beach shack on Goa’s Morjim beach.
For the majority of year, this beach is a playground for beginner surfers. The shallow waters offer a safe environment for newcomers to experience the thrill of surfing.
From showers to a restaurant, bar, and even rooms if you are a traveling surfer, S2 has it all.
After your surf lesson, refuel with a healthy breakfast or celebrate your progress with a refreshing beer by the beach.

Prior to each lesson, we assess the water for potential risks like rips and currents, ensuring a safe learning environment. Our highly trained instructors prioritize safety, adeptly managing boards and ensuring student well-being in the water.
Safety remains paramount for us. If conditions aren't good enough for guaranteed safety, we'll pause the session.

n our surf lessons, we provide the necessary gear: the board, leash, and wax. Just bring along a towel and wear appropriate surf attire for the lesson.
We have rash-guards available at the school, we do not provide wetsuits.

Octopus Surf School operates from the vibrant S2 Beach Shack in Morjim, Goa. S2 offers clean and functional facilities, including a fully equipped bar and kitchen.
Towels are available from S2 for a small fee.
