Beginner friendly Surf at Morjim beach, Goa
Morjim Beach in Goa, is perfect for beginner surfers looking to catch their first wave. This beach has gentle, rolling waves and shallow waters, an ideal environment to learn the basics and experience surfing.

Beginner Lesson
Designed for first timers
This lesson is ideal first-timers or those with minimal surfing experience. Here’s what you’ll learn!
Ocean awareness & beach safety
Independent surfboard handling
Basics of paddling, balance, and catching a wave in waist-deep water (ideal for non-swimmers!)
Our experienced instructors will be with you every step of the way. Expect to fall, laugh, and experience the thrill of surfing.
Duration: 1.5 hrs (30 mins on land, 60 mins in water)
Batch Size: 1 - 5 (Batch size varies with conditions)
Octopus School Members: Rs 1200 per adult
Non Members: Rs 1800 per adult.

Kids Lesson
Get set for a one-of-a-kind adventure!
Kids are a big part of the Octopus community! Our dedicated lessons focus on safety and fun, teaching the basics in shallow waters. It’s a fun space where kids can splash, play, and learn to surf.
Duration: 1.5 hrs (30 mins on land, 60 mins in water)
Batch Size: 1 - 5 (Batch size varies with conditions)
Ages 13 and below: Rs 1200 per kid (no membership required)

Private Lesson
Prepare for an exclusive experience.
In our private lessons, get personalised one on one training and feedback to master the fundamentals.
Duration: 1.5 hrs (30 mins on land, 60 mins in water) Batch Size: 1 - 2
Octopus School Members: Rs 3000 for single, Rs 5000 for double
Non Members: Rs 3500 for single, Rs 6000 for double

Intermediate Lesson
This course is perfect for those ready to commit to more in-depth learning. Each session will build on the last, ensuring steady progress. We will work closely with you, adapting the lessons to your individual needs, so you get the most out of every wave.
Course Duration: 2.5 hrs daily, with private, personalized instruction for all intermediate lessons.
Lesson fee for 3 days: Rs 7500 per student, includes 6 hours of complimentary rentals and a Octopus Membership
Timings: 8 AM to 12 PM, schedule may vary based on conditions and the course focus
3 Day Package
3-Day Beginner Lesson Package
Immerse yourself in the ultimate surf experience with our back-to-back 3-day package.
Duration: 1.5 hrs (30 mins on land, 60 mins in water) per day
Batch Size: 1 - 5 (Batch size varies with conditions)
Rate: Rs 3600 per adult for 3 days

Local Kids Package
For kids who are at the beach every weekend, we’ve got something special just for them!
Our Local Kids Package offers a lessons every Saturday and Sunday for the entire surf season, perfect for young surfers eager to learn and have fun.
Duration: 1.5 hrs (30 mins on land, 60 mins in water) per day
Batch Size: 1 - 5 (Batch size varies with conditions)
Rate: Rs 15000 per kid - for the season

Board Rentals
If you’re just beginning your surf journey or seasoned surfer. We have a wide range of beginner foam boards/soft-tops to hardboards on which to carve those waves on.
Beginner Boards
Members Rs 150, Non-members Rs 300 per hour
Advanced Boards
Members Rs 300, Non-members Rs 600 per hour

We're located at S2 Beach Shack on Morjim Beach, offering everything you need for a perfect day out.
From showers to a restaurant, bar, and even rooms if you are a traveling surfer, S2 has it all.
